What a fright

I'm lodging away overnight again at the site camp. The cabins are very well equipped and clean. The mobile phone doesn't work inside so this evening I walked over to the carpark to phone Mrs SJR. As I returned towards the cabins I thought I saw large shapes moving in the darkness over my right shoulder. Not my imagination, as I continued two huge stags appeared within the beam of a tower light. I can't believe how well the phone handled the relatively poor light.
I have just heard on the news that somewhere in Scotland recorded the hottest September day for 115 years. I would believe that. It was an exhausting day on some rough hilly terrain.
