The planned visit to Salford to see the Speed of Light was well and truly kiboshed by the weather today. The snow got noticeably heavier as I drove over to my sister's and at one point I had to drive wearing my sunglasses as the glare from the snow was so bright.

I arrived to find my Jamie wearing shorts and a T shirt, but luckily he did change into something a bit warmer before we went out for a walk. As well as making snow angels, building a snowman and burying his brother up to his neck in the snow, Jamie threw the odd snowball a bit too close for comfort.
