unexpected

This morning I expected our new caregiver to arrive at 9 am. I got a call at 9:15 from the agency saying she was not coming today, but would be here Friday. So my planned morning out on the Harley was changed into staying home and helping hubby with his exercises, shower and lunch. Unexpected.

Then while he was napping I slipped out for a short Harley ride. 
Normally I pass right by this spot on my way to a farther destination, but I've always wanted to stop and take pictures here.Today I knew I was short on time and would have to turn back here, so I planned to get off the bike and take a few snaps. It was hot and hazy so this view was unexpected.

Sometimes the unexpected is better than we'd expected!
