Water gymnastics

We travelled to Victoria today for a much needed haircut for me and a couple of scans booked for Peter. Our townhouse looks right out on the Gorge Waterway. Always something interesting. Lots of watercraft. We have been watching this young man all summer and he has finally mastered this strange water toy. It looks like a skateboard with a keel on it. The keel ( with a fin at 90 degrees to the keel )  is 90 degrees to the board. The fin is shaped like an aircraft wing. He tries to create a lifting action using the fin by pumping like he was on a swing. See his arms.  And he can now complete a full circle out from the dock and back again. So cool.
