Erica's Birthday Cake

Erica had her birthday party today, and her cake was a huge cup cake! The cake was iced the night before by Lauren with assistance from Erica. It took over two hours and by the end of the night Erica was as high as a kite. A combination of sugar and the need to get some sleep!!

The party went well, and I think all the girls had a great time.

So Erica will be 8 tomorrow which neither Audrey or myself can quite believe. It also means that at this time 8 years ago we didn't even have a name for her. As we sat in bed reading baby name books we came across the name Erica which is latin for Heather. As we live in Scotland, problem solved.
