Denver

Went for a spring break day trip to Denver today with my friend Nick.

The drive there was very pretty and although I'd flown into Denver to get to University here I had arrived at night so it was nice to see the city skyline. We went first to the Denver Museum of History and Science it was great fun although the museum was pretty full of bus loads of school kids. I got to see stuffed versions of all the local animals which I will hopefully get to see with my Dad when he comes over in the summer.

After the Museum we went to a place called Golden which has the millercoors factory. The largest single site brewery in the world. The tour was free and we were given free samples of beer along the way and then three beers at the end. Thanks to a small lunch and the altitude I got a little drunk! Opps!

On the way home we stopped off the dinner at Qdoba and popped into Cheyenne to say Hi to Nicks parents. Watched trainspotting when we got home. Was a fun day.
