Moo......

Got a bit of a surprise on my walk along Benfleet Creek today as the cows were grazing along the path to Leigh - I'd never seen them in there before as they're normally in one of the many fields by the train tracks! And when I was the only person walking the path for an hour I did begin to panic that maybe it was 'shut' today because of the cows! but eventually saw some cyclists about - dodging the cow pats was fun!

Lots of wading birds to see today along with a couple of cormorants which was nice.  with their wings out they were looking like dragons against the backdrop of the sun!

Had some thundery rain overnight but today has been another very warm and mostly sunny day! Back to plant watering again tonight for me!
