Surprise visitor

Started back to work this week and I have struggled to sit at the computer.  Finished early today and went straight to Arundel for a walk. I was surprised to see this heron in the small stream that surrounds the castle. There are usually only ducks and swans. The town was a lot quieter today. Must be the effect of schools starting again. Definitely looked like autumn is on its way as the paths were edged with gold and orange leaves. 
The Arun river that runs through the town was very high. Barely any room under the arches of the bridge. I am hoping we don't get heavy rain and storms again tonight.
