The forecasters got it right .....

...... it was very, very wet this morning.  Waterproof jacket and shoes were essential until late morning when the rain finally stopped.

A number of years ago my brother and family gave me a lovely acer for my birthday and this morning the raindrops were clinging to the feathery petals.
