Curveball

The day started well by finding out my neutrophil levels were good. Then I got a call to say my platelets were too low to go ahead with chemo today. 

Frustrating 
Irksome 
But ultimately just another delay. 

However, the summer has gone by and we’ve only been able to have a few days of holiday and now the curve of the year is against us. 

I can’t really complain as I’ve had a pretty easy ride so far. But a holiday would be good.
