Miss Lakeland II leaves Ambleside Pier.

A change in the weather today . . . cloudy and hazy but none of the storms that were forecast. 

I set off for Bowness but after about 3 miles got stuck in a tailback of traffic from roadworks. Not knowing how far ahead they were (there had only been one small sign) I turned around at the first safe opportunity.  There was one parking space at Waterhead so I got a few photos and had a longer, non photo, walk in the afternoon.
