On The Beach
I needed some images for a course and two of us drove over to the beach at Mellon Udrigle for some wide seascape shots. There was not the slightest hope of that as the wind was howling off the sea and sand was tearing across the beach in a way that I have only seen before in a sand storm in Morocco. It was far too windy to use a tripod and in fact nearly impossible to stand upright, so these are a few "kneeling in a sand storm" details.
Thank you, Paul, for encouraging me to get out in the most alien environment in which I have ever used a camera.
