Me and my bestie

It was my birthday today. It began with a quick trip to the eye clinic with Tom. He developed persistent floaters last week. The check up revealed that his eyes were just getting older like the rest of him and that he had the very beginnings of a cataract.
My friend Chris and her other half took me out for lunch. We enjoyed prosecco, of course, chicken goujons and prawns. It's always good to see them.
Wills girlfriend, Georgina popped round on her own with flowers and prosecco, Will was at work till late.
I've spoken to family and had lots of messages from people - I'm so grateful.
