Calm

A calm moment before the storm. 

I managed a bit of a walk out in a day of long meetings. I know it’s only two days since my last Speckled Wood photo, but they are the butterfly of the moment and at least this one has the variety of wings open.

The thunderstorm arrived at about 4pm. I had to step out in the middle of it to clear my down pipe rain drain which was blocked by a few leaves and therefore flooding all over my yard. The water was really coming down at a fierce rate.
