Mt Panorama

We haven’t been feeling brilliant for a few days ( cold symptoms) so decided we should go and get a Covid Test. I’m sure we haven’t got it because we haven’t been anywhere for a couple of weeks, but better to check. There have been a dribble of cases here in town over the last few weeks. 

The testing venue is in the pits of the Bathurst Mount Panorama racing circuit. The last time we went up the wait looked to be about 24 hours as the line was kilometres long…..but today we only had 3 in front of us. Very convenient. After we left the venue we took the car for a spin around the race track. As the car has been sitting in the garage for weeks we thought it could do with a run.

 Here are some views I took with my phone. The track has a speed limit of 60kph as it is also a normal city road (with houses and lots of people out exercising) outside of race days. The views from up there are pretty amazing.
