Castanea sativa

A lovely day at home with running, yoga, walking, cleaning, chatting and now I am off to get my hair done.
There is a bountiful amount of autumn fruits, nuts and berries already.  These Spanish sweet chestnuts caught my eye.  I do like to eat them in the winter when they are roasted at a hot fire.
