Book Club

Given the heatwave we've had our book club choice this month seemed appropriate, but despite the title, contained no advice on how to survive. Lovely depiction of an Irish family living in North London . I have a good friend who is Irish,  living in North London.  I could imagine her in this book. 
The other books for my record are last month's read. Two detective series I'm reading in order - Atkinson's' Jackson Brodie and Wallander . And two books I picked up in Waterstones on the table that has buy one get one half price. Plus a classic for contrast.
