Evening ride and shot missed

After a day with Teams meetings and sitting in front of a computer. I took my car and went for a ride in the countryside. Sun was shining and I was driving in the small gravel road. I noticed a halo effect on the sky and pulled over to a smaller road to take a photo of it.  I took it and turned around... All of a sudden I see a HUGE bird sitting on tree next to me. It also notices me and at the same time I lift my camera. Bird starts to fly and I start to shoot. Got few frames and then the bird was gone. I was surprised and excited,  what a bird! I am not a bird expert but it was a lot of bigger than a crow and it looked like it had brownish color.  I think it was some kind of a hawk... wow. 

I could not wait to get home and see the photos so I could try to  recognize, which bird it was. But as the situation was so quick, all the shots were out of focus and had motion blur... Good photos for the "Bad photo exhibition" candidates if our camera club has that kind of event again.  

So I got a new addition to the list of the wild animals I saw but shots that I missed... Better luck next time, I hope.
