Flower Friday: "Thistle down (and damp)"

(Well, these WERE flowers... !) I saw some of these thistle heads the other day looking splendid with the sun behind them, but today's been grey, misty and drizzling. I quite liked the water droplets on the thistle down, though. (And I didn't notice the spider until I was processing the picture!)
