Buggeration

A wee cycle about but that Brompton’s derailleur is a strange thing and once it refuses to ping back to the lower cog, not very simple at all to debug. Too many points of friction. And googling, I find many many people with the same problem. Dare I say, bad design? So my six speed bike is now operating as a three speed. Still, it got me up to the daughter’s where we took a stroll round the neighbourhood during her break and I heard about her plans for a house extension.
And later, the usual chinwaggery and who turned up but Sherlock after a year of long covid. True to form, I told him to pull himself together. No messing. He got his round in.
