Local songs

This group of singers from Sejny won some competitions this summer and made a recording in the Strumillo's garden. Acoustics were the main issue, explaining the very low light. I had to heavily crop the image to remove the plastic water bottles. Their repertoire is well researched and documented. The main theme of the songs seemed to be male-female relations from various perspectives.

It was very nice to see several people that we hadn't seen for a long time. MG was there too and there was coffee and cake after, in front of a roaring fire in the gallery.
