Around La Baule, Brittany

Today was NOT the sunny day promised, mainly overcast but still warm. So, instead of braving the waters of the atlantic we went back up the coast to Le Croisic, a charming if touristy harbour town. Quite comfortable until about noon when the population exploded. Someone must have delivered a few bus loads of geriatrics which slowed everything down to a snail's or escargot's pace
Drove “home” and lunched with a picnic in our room. For some unexplained reason we were not permitted to utilise the small garden for this purpose, despite the hotel not offering any food.

Moving tomorrow. New inland place for 3 nights: Verteuil-sur-Charante, in an Old Mill House.
