Not A Pot

After breakfast I went to prepare a couple of bits of wood but found there was a problem with the bandsaw - I obviously had set the blade runners wrongly when I changed it recently.
But I had to leave it as SWMBO wanted to go and do some shopping - so that was the morning gone.

After lunch I went and sorted the bandsaw.
To check it I cut a small bit of wood before risking the bigger, much harder stuff I intend on using.
Having cut the small bit I decided to make a flattish pot with a narrow neck. It isn't quite as flat as intended - or as hollow ... but it will do.
When I was photographing it I thought I would try and incorporate the dead thistle. There are five shots Here.
