I spent ages watching this spider weaving a web in the local moss nature reserve.  There were webs everywhere but didn't spot many spiders.  On the way home the tyre pressure warning light came on in the car.  Checked the tyres when I got home and found a nail in one.  So off to Carlisle to get it sorted.  Thought I was going to need a new tyre but they plugged it.  So much cheaper.  First time I've had a tyre plugged!!  A neighbour popped around this afternoon whilst I was trying to dig a hole in my wilderness to plant something (not easy).  It was a very welcome visit as she had some chocolate cake with her.
