Mallow by the woodpile

It's hard to believe it's 20 years since 9/11.
I had just been to NY on holiday 6 weeks before and been up to the cafe on the top floor of one tower for the view. Afterwards I kept remembering the lift attendant who took us to the 84th floor and bar staff, wondering if they were okay.
Thinking of those affected by it today. Crazy world we live in.
