Teignmouth

We all headed out to Teignmouth this morning where we were meeting up with our daughter and family.  It was pretty grey and a bit cold when we first arrived.  We wandered along the seafront where I took a few shots of the pier.  Fortunately the weather brightened up and became one of those changeable days.  

Our grandson was very taken with the playground here where there were lots of areas to play including an area with water jets, see extra.  We ate lunch at a takeaway overlooking the seafront and our grandson was not prepared to have his sleep, there was far too much going on around him. We abandoned that idea and he had a good walk back along the seafront amusing several people with his giggles as he ran along.  Needless to say he soon fell asleep in the car on the way back home.

We had a good takeaway meal this evening in celebration of my husbands birthday in a few days time.  Now time to watch the women's tennis.
