England - all out

Ok, posting this retrospectively. But still ..
Big day - headed off to Manchester to see the final test match of the England v India tour. I bought these tickets possibly 2 years ago for Eng v Pak, last year. That match was cancelled - obvs. So ticket rolled over to this year. The other big event having a bearing was that my dad died earlier this year - he lived about an hour away, and it had been a good reason to try out Old Trafford. So it’s a trip that should never really have been .
But, we had a good evening - dinner at Mackie Mayors, great food and so interesting to sit and watch Manchester out and about.so strange to be landed in this ‘normal’ world again.
