Planting and Dancing

Invitation to friends to help plant trees for them in a new woodland they are making. So eight of us planted a mixture of native and naturalised species in the drizzle. We ate a hearty, delicious and most welcome late lunch.
This weekend is the Ballydehob traditional music festival, couldn't resist a few tunes, followed by a ceilidh dance at the community dance, the live music was very fast indeed, so we whirled and twirled the night away to jigs, reels and polkas like the Connemara, the Claddadh and the Sliabh Luachra, nine sets with a break for a yummy spread of tea, sandwiches and cake!!
