Here comes the bride...

Today I spent some time with a good friend and as we were haircutting and pedicuring and processing, there was this beautiful family of women at the salon getting ready for a wedding. We were taken by the bride, who was giddy and excited and well, simply radiant. Her biggest worry was a smudge that appeared in her make-up that needed fixing and I wanted to tell her that my genuine wish for her is that she could always be as happy as today, with worries only as big as small smudges that take seconds to fix.

There was both beauty and irony between our conversation and this as our backdrop, but it's funny how one person's biggest day is another's lazy Saturday and I feel like she left us both with that touch of magic that brides do...
