Saved The Best ‘til Last

Last day of the holiday and photographically the best at the Lackford Lakes Nature Reserve. We captured or saw many birds, including the kingfisher complete with fish, a wild muntjac deer, rabbits. 

But this little chap befriended us. So close we thought he would sit on my hand and feed. But he didn’t quite have the nerve.

So here he is, our little friend. Closing our wonderful holiday in style.

Sometimes the snow comes down in June
Sometimes the sun goes 'round the moon
Just when I thought our chance had passed
You go and save the best for last
