Flower Friday: Lilies

Back-blipping again! The days have been so full/busy!

So today, we had a relaxed morning and afternoon. We'd been invited to an early family dinner, something that is a rare event now that there are only two other family members cousins left in Dubai.

We headed out to JVC to my cousin Sarah's place. Not sure how it happened, but we were the last to arrive. Salman and his family were already there, and it emerged they had a full day too, finishing lunch with my other cousin at 4:30. That meant there was no time for little Aaron to have a nap, so he was, er, a bit cranky. Sadly, they left in a rush, which means I didn't get any family pictures to mark the occasion.

Whilst there, we realised that friends Susan and Gladson live on the other side of the same building, so we knocked on their door to give them a surprise visit, but sadly they were out.

The flowers in my blip are what we brought home from last nights' memorial service. They are incredibly tall. I can't say lilies are my favourite flower (too messy), but they certainly look pretty in a bouquet. Hoping they last at least five days. :)
