Yardfest

Our community choir was singing at Saltaire’s “Yardfest” today. I hadn’t been to this before as I’ve usually been away on holiday.  It was very crowded, and as I arrived there were ominous black clouds, but the breeze blew them away and the sun came out to give a hot afternoon.  We sang 10 songs which seemed to go down well with the crowd.  Afterwards I joined Jeanneb53 and husband C at The Hop for a couple of drinks, and then we caught buses home.  I then realised my camera had stayed in my backpack (too busy chatting!) and so had no record of the gig!  So, on the way up the hill to home I took a photo of the flowers on the church archway from a wedding yesterday.
