River Exe Lunch

First night sleeping in the Duke went really well - only waking up once when someone wanting to visit the facilities managed to crush my legs on exit - but the bed is wide enough to sleep my 6’ 1” comfortably. Staying in the drive outside out good friends Dave and Lesley’s house in very quiet Shillingford St George. Very good pub lunch in Topsham at this pub by the river Exe and a walk up the hill with their dog followed by the exciting and inspired win by Emma Radukanu of the US open and then a late night after discussions about the state of the Middle East!
