By the seaside

We thought we might be going to the beach regularly this week but the countryside has been too lovely and relaxing to leave. This morning, we made the effort, timing it just right for the rain to stop. 

Sandsend has a wonderful dog-friendly beach so we walked by the water’s edge and Little Dog thought she was two again! It was very atmospheric as the weather moved on but lovely and warm to sit on the front for a drink and snack.
 
While I had an afternoon bird watching, Rich possibly didn’t enjoy Lousy Lane too much! Sustained 25% for just a bit too long made it feel harder than Rosedale Chimney but I daren’t tell him that yesterday! 

We’ve had a whole afternoon outdoors and now a storm is raging!
