Harbour Carnival

Isle Stone did their last gig of the summer this evening. It was on the Crown Pier in the centre of town as part of the Harbour Carnival celebrations. It was a very loud, 45 minute set which was met with applause and shouts from quite a sizeable crowd. All 5 of the band seem to come alive when they perform and it really is amazing to watch.
After the gig, a friend and I went for dinner before the fireworks. Very spontaneous for me and most out of character for me. We attempted to put the world right and had a good old chat. Unfortunately, some bright spark, no pun intended, started the display early. So we left the restaurant and we’re able to see the last 3 fireworks only. Never mind.
