Crazy Cyclists

The reason for the trip was to knock something off my bucket list - Le Race. I live in Wellington so I'm no stranger to hills but we have nothing that compares to what I experienced on Saturday. They were relentless. Two weeks ago I did a local 115km race in 2 hours 53 minutes. Le Race is only 96km and it took 3 hours 52 minutes!! Probably not one I want or need to do again. Needless to say, not many photos were taken Saturday - this guy was last one over the finish line, a gutsy 6 hr 44 minute effort!! Well done to everyone who finished.
