Hebden Bridge sunday market

A delightful hour or two in Hebden Bridge, where the market was especially good. Today's new discovery was a delicacy known as a Lancashire Foot - a sort of flat, round pasty, filled with cheese and bacon. They are so-called because miners used to keep them warm in their boots. They are sometimes known as Collier's Foots (never "feet.")
