Great Spotted Woodpecker (Dendrocopos Major)

A female I believe, I leant outa the kitchen window to
take it, as they are sooo very skittish, we have a family
of them in our woods, they bring the babies up in the
summer, so nice to see.
It is our No1 Grandsons birthday today, he is 25 so we
are all meeting up at my daughters place for a bit of
a knees up, I can't believe he's 25 it only seems like the
other day that he was born, how time flies.
Still another cold day, but not windy thank goodness.
Large may be better
