Solace Day 7: Through The Locks

This was a typical scene for me today. We had to make our way up 21 locks. (Heartbreak Hill) This is The Man and Greig opening the gates for us.

We ended up back where we had been the night we saw the little owls. Through the night we regretted the decision to be so close to them! There was me thinking they were a diurnal owl, being active in the daytime.
