I really enjoyed watching Emma Radacanu and Lelyah Fernandez fight it out at Flushing Meadow last night. What a joy to watch, no grunting and only a little upset when Emma had to have a medical time out when she had a bleeding leg.
We did some more gardening this morning and I took this photo of the verbena bonariensis and the painted lady before we went out for our afternoon walk. There were a few butterflies in the sunshine.
