Standing Tall

Country Pigeon has cousins in London.
Of Nelson's Column she's heard.
So she's perched herself high on a chimney:
a head-in-the-clouds type bird!

Her pedestal isn't too fancy.
No crowds have come to stare.
But I fancy Country Pigeon
feels quite magnificent there.
