September garden

The garden is really shifting to its autumnal colours and, after a sunny morning, this afternoon's temperature was quite a bit cooler. It was a backdrop to working today with quite a few things on the list, including one fairly big job. Bailey didn't stir his bones when I did - still tired from his pampering yesterday, I think - but timed his appearance quite well, just at a point when I needed a walk to clear my head. He has spent the rest of his day either in the garden or in his bed and has let me get on with things.
