tiny cushion

A couple of weeks back I blipped this perennial sow thistle when it was a flower. Today I noticed that flower had turned into a seedhead, a beautifully soft one, like a tiny cushion. This elegant wildflower has been producing so many big yellow blooms for weeks.
Working on the front garden today. Moved a small hydrangea I planted there last year because it hadn’t grown at all and planted it in a tub. Then I replaced it with a much bigger tougher hydrangea. Also got a few tubs ready to plant autumn bulbs in.
