Palm Sunday in the snow!
There's still a lot of snow around and large drifts in places. There is also a strong and bitterly cold wind so we decided to hold our Palm Sunday procession inside the church building today. Normally we walk around the outside of half of the building from one door to the next.
After the service the sun was out and casting lovely light and shadows on the snow, time for a blip! Trying to catch this photo before the wind blew everything away was fun and I did have to chase after one of the crosses at one point. I had also made the mistake of not changing the camera battery. I managed one shot before it shut down so this is it! I could have gone back later but I was quite happy with this one.
The church is on a slope and with the low angle and the way I have taken the photo it has made it look as though the church walls are falling over and out. I assure you they are not ... at least I don't think they are!
BikerBear mentioned yesterday that a FREE camera-school is starting online in late April/early May. Details of the course can be found here. We are wondering whether it might be possible to start a forum here on blip for anyone who signs up so that we can help each other and exchange info about the course.
