Pensthorpe Natural Park

This Monet-inspired bridge is only one of many attractive features in this interesting park, which includes a wildfowl collection, captive Flamingoes, Cranes (of 3 species) and Waders (including Avocets, Ruff, Greenshank and Redshank), lakes and ponds for wild birds, 4 organised gardens and loads of activities to engage children. The Millennium Garden is particularly impressive, with year-round colour coming from large naturalistic clumps of pollen-rich plants.
