A slight cheat going on to day but it's almost my birthday so hey ho! The view home yesterday. Extras - a slight diversion to Kilcummin church which has amazing stained glass windows but no holy water in its fonts.
Well, what are you like!!! Blippers are just so wonderful. Thanks you so much for all those birthday wishes, each one very much appreciated. It's been a busy week. Wonderful to catch up with Barry, and a far too fleeting visit, but he is incredibly busy and a bit stressed with a short film due for delivery by the end of September - he's done his bit but one person has let them down, so stress levels are high. Hopefully the Irish air, a bit of yomping and some good food has helped.
More stress in that both sons ended up in hospital this week. Will was going in for a procedure involving a local anaesthetic , a benign cist on his shoulder; he arrived, the surgeon took a look and postponed as a general anaesthetic was needed. Luckily he didn't have to wait long and was in on Friday. All seems to have gone well but no climbing for 6 weeks. Joe has had a lingering lurgy for a couple of weeks but last week felt truly terrible, went to the doctor (seen in his van as they were still in Level 3 covid), collapsed and was taken in and pumped full of antibiotics - probably tonsillitis. Fortunately the meds have kicked in and he's feeling a lot better and is able to look after Esme.
Also trying to finish off this talk! I had to nip in and repeat a few sentences where, according to Klaus, I sounded a bit demonic! Back to him tonight to put everything together, hopefully.
And my computer reckons it's full - how has that happened I blame blip
