Guilder rose with drips
It's been a grey and drizzly day today. I had to go to St. Martins so while I was there went to Ifton Meadows Nature Reserve for a walk and a blip.
It was all very wet underfoot as well as on the hedgerows but it makes the berries look pretty with their drips, I especially liked this guilder rose. There will be lots of food for the birds when winter arrives so I did help myself to a few blackberries as I walked around.
There were very few birds on the reserve, (I only saw a wren and a pigeon) but they'll soon be back.
