Isn't she lovely?

This female Monarch was happily joining a few bees on our Joe Pye weed by the piazza deck out front.  I noticed her when I was leaving some peanuts for a front lawn chipmunk and rushed in to get my camera. She didn't stay long, but I managed to get a photograph.

For the  record,
This day came in with a rainy start, but cleared up and was quite warm.

All hands wary.
