I don't know....

...what this is. It could be a cantharis livida, which fits the colours, but the ever reliable  Wiki suggests that they are seen from May-July. It's the only one I've ever seen and it appeared to be eyeing up an Alder beetle for brunch. If you know what it is, please let me know.
