A Rainy Day

It rained pretty much all morning and I didn’t get out for a walk! I have also managed to hurt my back - lifting and moving so much stuff recently - so the weather wasn’t the only excuse!

I managed a quick trip to the supermarket for a few (lightweight) bits - nothing too strenuous. Returning home I spotted that the rain had got to the plant by our front door and was pooling in the bottom of this flower. Handily, my little camera was in my coat pocket so I got a few shots before I got too wet…..

The light was very poor and the slow shutter speed meant I was getting blurred shots, so I used the little pop-up flash on the camera - and it almost looks some sunshine on the petals.
